Minorris Bebee

    Minorris Bebee was born on Monday, 24 September 1804 at Bennington Co., Vermont, USA. He and Dorothy Day Barrett, daughter of Alfred Barrett and Philinda Hale, were married. He appeared as household head on the census of 1830 at Greece, Monroe Co., New York, USA. His family was listed as: one free white male under 5, 1 free white male 20-29, 1 free white female 15-19, total of 3 free white persons. He purchased land on 20 May 1841 at Will Co., Illinois, USA, known as: the east half of the south west quarter of Section Seven in township thirty four north of range fifteen east, in the district of Sands subject to sale at Chicago, Illinois, containing eighty acres and seventy six hundredth of an acre.      Minorris died on Sunday, 16 April 1843 at Crete, Will Co., Illinois, USA, at age 38 years, 6 months and 23 days. He was buried in Crete Cemetery, Crete, Will Co., Illinois, USA.
