    George Milmine Cooper was born on Friday, 26 April 1878 at Ohio, USA. He appeared on the census of Tuesday, 15 June 1880 in the household of William M. Cooper at Waverly, Baltimore Co., Maryland, USA. He was enumerated as: Cooper, George, white, male, age 2, single, son, born Ohio, father born Canada, mother born Michigan. He was found on a passenger list with William M. Cooper on 18 June 1888 at the Umbria, port of New York City, New York, USA. He was registered as George M. Cooper, age 10, male, child, USA resident, born USA, embarked in London, cabin passenger, going to USA, citizen. He began military service when he was mustered in on Friday, 17 June 1898 at Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio, USA. He served with the Sixth Regiment Ohio Volunteer Infantry, Company L, Toledo, during the Spanish American War. He ended military service when he was discharged on Wednesday, 12 October 1898. In August 1905 he was living in Pittsburg, and was the secretary of the Manufacturers' association of that place. He bought interests in and became the manager of the Colonial and Gayety Theatres in Connellsville, PA. He and his mother Rebecca W. Cooper were residing in Hood River, Oregon in 1917, but it is unsure exactly when they moved there. He had contracted severe dysentery during his service in the Spanish-American war and he sought treatment at the goverment hospital at the Presidio in San Francisco. He then went to Los Angeles for serveral months. His health worsened and he moved back to Toledo, Ohio to receive surgery.
     George died on Saturday, 6 April 1918 at St. Vincents Hospital, Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio, USA, at age 39 years, 11 months and 11 days of gastric intestinal toxcimia. Rebecca Cooper was listed as the informant. He was buried on Monday, 8 April 1918 in Forest Cemetery, Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio, USA.
