    Susan Gates purchased land on 4 September 1858 at Redwing, Goodhue Co., Minnesota, USA, described as: the east half of the southwest quarter, the southwest quarter of the southwest quarter and the south east quarter of the north west quarter of section twenty four in township one hundred and twelve north of range twenty west, in the district of land formerly subject to sale at Redwing, now Henderson, Minnesota, containing one hundred and sixty acres.
