Avis Madeline Littlejohn

    Avis Madeline Littlejohn was born in 1898 at Kingston, Jamaica. She and Arthur Willard Larter, son of Edward Larter and Mary Victoria Ryan, were married by Reverend F. C. Ward-Whale on Saturday, 20 November 1926 at the St. Alban's Cathedral Church, Toronto, York Co., Ontario, Canada. He was 40, bachelor, plumber, Anglican, living at 40 Colin Avenue, born Ontario, able to read and write. She was 28, spinster, stenographer, Anglican, living at 955 Ossington Street, born Kingston, Jamaica, able to read and write. Alex Harper and Theresa Lesage witnessed the marriage.
     Avis died on Tuesday, 3 February 1981 at Grace Hospital, Toronto, York Co., Ontario, Canada, at age 83 years.
