Margaret Annie Klein

    Margaret Annie Klein was also known as Annie Margaret Hale. She was born on Thursday, 12 July 1900 at Toronto, York Co., Ontario, Canada. She and Wilbert Bernard Hale, son of Benjamin Rupert Hale and Margaret Elizabeth Wiley, were married by J. A. Turnbull on Friday, 3 March 1916 at Toronto, York Co., Ontario, Canada. Both were listed as being single. There is a note attached to the marriage registration from Annie Klein, giving her consent to the marriage and stating that her husband Frederick Klein has been absent from Ontario for more than nine years and she had been the sole guardian and support of Margaret Klein. Diana Dewsbury witnessed the marriage. She appeared on the census of 1921 in the household of Wilbert Bernard Hale at 96 Degrassi Street, Toronto, York Co., Ontario, Canada.
     Annie died on Tuesday, 20 May 1924 at Toronto General Hospital, Toronto, York Co., Ontario, Canada, at age 23 years, 10 months and 8 days of Dysentery due to Broncho Pneumonia. Irwin Stones was the attending physician. She was buried on Thursday, 22 May 1924 in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto, York Co., Ontario, Canada.
